Here is a short list of breakfast ideas to help you shape your body and budget.
Chocolate Banana Peanut butter Smoothie:
One Frozen Banana
1 cup of milk
1-2 tbsp of peanut butter
1-2 tsp of Chocolate syrup
Mix well in a blender. Feel free to adjust the portions and substitute the milk for almond milk or whatever is your choice of milk.
One egg with veggies (spinach, zucchini, mushroom, or anything really)
Protein with veggies is a great way to start your day. If I am adding zucchini or onion or something that takes a while to cook I get that started and work on other things like tidying the kitchen. Then cook the eggs.
Oatmeal with fruit and honey
Oatmeal is a great money saver and is awesome for filling hungry tummies. I cook up quick oats and add in whatever fruits are in season and on sale. Strawberries, blueberries, apple, banana, and peach are all great fruits to add in. I then add in honey and maybe a little milk.
Bake a loaf of banana bread, zucchini bread, or something similar
Try and use healthy ingredients substituting wheat flour, apple sauce and bananas for other ingredients such as white flour, oil and even sugar.
One slice is enough and if it does not feel that way add peanut butter to help fill you.
